Week Three Update.

Hi Peeps.

Well here we are at  the completion of week three?

So what did we learn this week??

The first thing we did was to register with an Autoresponder!! There are quite a few on the market but the one I like is Aweber as it is familiar with internet marketing, Which is a huge bonus!!

Once you have decided on which autoresponder to go with you then need to set it up. We were given a report to do this with which included a squeeze page that has to be set up which we also  did!!

We then uploaded the squeeze page to our blog and did some testing to make sure it works?? I had a bit of fun with that as I could not get the size right but after I put it to the forum I got the answers I needed and hey presto!! you will have seen the page when you clicked on to this blog.aweber,

If you want to see the Free Report why not enter your name here and you can download it.

We then added the graphics for the free report to our blog and we were done for this week.

So on the whole not a very taxing week but thats only because the hardest weeks are yet to come???

Thanks for reading.

Back soon with more.

Week Two (Parnership to Success)

Have just finished week two of PTS and there were  a few tasks to complete.

I must say this really is a step by step course with precise instructions to follow, John explains everything in great detail so you cannot fail to get the task done, you can’t really miss anything out as I said its abc 123.

The first thing we did this week was to register with google adsense, Google adsense is a way of making commisions through the adds they put on your blog. The good thing is they usually put adds on that are related to your blog content!!

We then spoke about Blog themes and how to upload them to our blogs, we then tested them to make sure we uploaded them correctly. After that we went on to blog graphics and how they affect your identity online and how to upload them to our blogs once we had them. we then renamed headers and footers and deleted our blog titles which were not needed as the graphics we uploaded had our titles in them. we spoke about RSS feed buttons and how they affect your blog visually and had the choice to delete them or not.

What we did then was to back up our blogs which is the most important thing you can do. If you do not back them up and your blog is hacked or you have to dellete it in some way you have no way of getting the information and post back???

I am enjoying the course contenet at the moment and there is plenty of it. There is always something different to do and each task is very interesting.

So on to week three next and lets see how we progress. Onwards and upwards.

Thank you for reading.

Back soon.

Week One Conclusion

Hi peeps.

Sorry I have not posted for a while but because I am still working I had to go to an exhibiton last week. Which was more to do with selling motorhomes than with internet marketing. We did however have a great exhibition and managed to sell a few motorhomes.

I spent  a lot of time studying a few successful blogs and the one thing they all have in common is they all started like you and me!!  How you may ask? well they started with nothing and build there businesses around them and each one is unique. Take John Thornhill  for instance, a factory worker who spent 10 years making car parts and is now one of the top Powersellers on ebay and a very well respected marketer. Paula Brett  She originally trained as an actress and was beginning to build a successful TV, Radio and Theatre career when she needed to put it all on hold for a while to be at home with her boys. As both endeavours are pretty much an all-or-nothing undertaking, obviously her sons took precedence. Not being one to relish spending my time cooking and cleaning, she kept her brain active by entering the crazy world of internet marketing and that was it — hooked!  She now owns her own Hosting company alond with her business partner and entrepreneur Dan Thompson

Jim Cockrum   Jim has been selling on eBay and the Internet since 1997 and advising clients along the way. He’s sold or helped his clients sell multiple millions of dollars of products and services online since 2000. His ideas have helped everyone from stay home entrepreneurs seeking to start successful eBay and online businesses to large corporate clients seeking to use the Internet as a creative marketing tool.  He earns his living from the Internet and he works full-time studying effective Internet strategies and educating individuals and businesses on the creative and powerful marketing potential of the Internet.

Those are just a few but they all have huge lists who they respect and look after. They make sure that their lists stay with them. They offer all kinds of products and solutions which they sell and give away to their lists.

Ok week one was another learning curve into the world of internet marketing . So its onwards and upwards to week 2.

Talk soon.

Regards.

Week One Partnership to Success program

Hi Peeps me again.

Ok I have recieved my first weeks training and have read it  through and watched the videos.

The first thing I need to do is to buy a domain name. Not just any domain name but one that is unique to me, which is RonRodwell.com. There are a number of companies that do this but i decided on Johns recommendation to go with 1 and 1 hosting.

The next thing to do is get a hosting plan and as I already have a hosting plan with D9 Hosting which is also Johns recommendation  I don’t need to do that. They are a fantastic company who understand the needs of the internet marketer. Click here to vist their site

After that its a case of setting up our email accounts in the cpanel of our hosting accounts and testing them.

We then need to register an account with clickbank so we can earn an income as an affiliate by choosing links to add to our blog or any other wesite we create. If you have never heard of clickbank then go here and find out how you can make more money as an affiliate.

We then need to download and install filezilla which is a free FTP software which allows you to alter and upload files to your website directly from your computer.

After that we can then install and edit our blog from our hosting cpanel. We can then edit and add links and categories.

Then we begin posting to our blog and make sure we do this once per day for the next five days to get used to posting and to keep our blog up to date. We can post about anything really the trick is to be yourself and post things like I have done today !!

Our Last task for this week is to study blogs by some well respected marketers this will take a while so I will give you an update once this task is done.

See you again soon.

Regards.

Welcome

Hi and a very warm welcome to my blog.

I thought I would start this blog by letting you know what I am up to and maybe you can follow me on my journey.

I have just joined a very comprehensive training program by John Thornhill who is a very well known and respected  Internet Marketer and Coach.

I decided on Johns coaching program after I had done due dilligence 0n a few other marketers as well as John and in my mind John came out on top.

I first joined Multi Profit Monthly as a way of finding out what John does and must say its one of the best programs I have ever joined. The content is good and the support is excellent.

It was then I decided that I needed to go further and so joined his 12 month course. I thought its time to stop the program hopping

I am currently waiting for my first weeks training which according to John will be with me in the next few minutes, I will then have a look at it and see what is in store for me next.

I will keep you posted as soon as I have read what it is I am doing first.  Back soon with my next post.

Regards.

Ron
